I find it funny that in Utah we can have weather like this one day:

 And then weather like this the next:

BALL!

 Most definitely, without a doubt, Alex's favorite thing in this world is: BALLS!  Anything that is round is a ball.  Anything that can bounce in any form is a ball.  Everything that he wants to pretend is a ball... is a ball!  Ball is his favorite word and one I hear probably 100 times a day.  So I think it shouldn't come as a surprise to know that he LOVES his Daddy's new addition to the game room!  :)

I Heart Pinterest

So... there's this new site that I've discovered [thanks, Paige!] and I.Love.It!  Basically, you can "pin" ideas- recipes, crafts, outfits, projects, pictures, goods, sayings- and you can categorize your pins for yourself and others to see.  People can then repin or like your pins.  It's given me lots of ideas- and given me a better way to organize all of my previously bookmarked webpages!  I've noticed that a lot of people use it as a sort of "wishing" site- they pin a million things but will never do any of it.  Because of that, I've purposely made a "Completed" category so I don't do the same!  So far I have already accomplished 2 things- with a 3rd in the works.  I'm SUPER excited about all of the other things I have pinned that I'll hopefully accomplish this year- if you want to know more you'll have to join Pinterest and follow my pins!  :)

2012 So Far - Wordless

Christmas!!!

I held a Jingle Bell Jog- just a 1 miler around our neighborhood. Here we are all decked out ready to run!

Serra not believing her eyes when she sees what Santa brought her [even though she made sure to tell every Santa she saw- and anyone else who would listen that she wanted a Barbie castle]!

Alex was much more excited that he not only got candy from Santa, but Mommy & Daddy were going to open it for him and let him eat it BEFORE breakfast!

Serra got a new dry erase writing tablet- and the first thing she wrote was her name!

Ian's sister, Lorie, got married on the 30th and so we drove down for the wedding in LA.

[I designed the cake- I was given a picture of the ribbon style she wanted and a huge pile of ribbons and this is what I came up with!]

Serra fractured her right elbow and was in a splint and sling for the wedding pictures... AWESOME!!! Now she has a red cast- too bad we didn't have it for the wedding as it would have actually matched!
